Hi, I have just joined this board so a few words from me to say hello.

I am from London England (unfortunately), but am of Irish blood through and through, all of my family being from Dublin and Wexford.

My grandfather was a jockey at Wexford and the Curragh many many years ago, mostly riding for my Great Grandfather who bred and owned racehorses in Wexford.

I bet on horses just about every day here in the UK, but now want to learn as much as I can about US racing, we have a thing here called betfair where we can bet on US races, I dont know if any of you on this board use betfair, but if you dont then you must try it as the returns are a lot higher than you would get at the track or at internet bookmakers for win and place betting.

Anyway, I wont go on too much and bore you senseless :)

Nice board you have and I hope to contribute as and when I can.

Kevin,

Welcome!

I consider me-self to be one of those Irish lads, though from the other end of the island. (Actually, my family was from there, but I have not lived there since I was a child.)

Best Regards,
Dave Schwartz

Jen,

You know, most people don't believe me when I tell them. I was born in the U.S., but my dad was from Belfast. I went to college in Belfast. (That was a LONG time ago.)

Dave Schwartz
