This article is lengthy, and very much worth taking the time to read in full. A few weeks ago, back in July, a new member appeared here at PA at the bottom of the front page, the member's name, Satish Sanan.

In his comments in the questions posed by Hegarty for this piece, its obvious, among his concerns, THE BETTORS. This has been, rare, as we know, among the Breeders' Cup committee members. He has also voiced thoughts regarding the future possibilities on how the choice of racetracks for the event is determined, as well as the monumental concern over racing surfaces, particularly synthetics.

A good catchment area to voice one's own concerns? Possibly.

Mr.Sanan may not have joined, it could be someone else. Still, hopefully, Mr.Sanan and other committee members will read the thoughts of bettors in regard to Breeders' Cup and its decisions.
