That's what our federal government does right? Well how then do you explain this (http://www.cato-at-liberty.org/2009/08/24/federal-pay-continues-rapid-ascent/)? and how long before people get fed up with it?
These are the people who are going to show the private sector about competition and controlling costs right? The political class takes care of their people and their union backers who get their lavish benefit packages saved.
Why? because they have an unlimited check book to work from. And what happens when that well runs dry? they'll come for more money from the rest of us suckers and tell us we need to pay more taxes, cut back, ration, and do without for the good of the poor people. Meanwhile there will NEVER be a government cutback of any kind.
