Very tough to get the value here at Freehold for me.I believe this is the chalkiest track in the country.The stretch here is just so short and the passing lane makes it almost unplayable IMO.

Not a bad exacta for you in the first for those numbers 1-7.

10th is interesting i mentioned the other day that Eddie Hart always seems to have a few good young one's.He's got the probable favorite here in the #7, a two year old.I liked the #3 a lot off that race two back at Yonkers and the driver change,but he missed time before his most recent off that effort...that worries me a bit.
The #1 is logical, but this probably is more of a competative field that is usually carded for this class.#2 Baggits horse has been over his head and won against better here before the move up...better value than the #1 I suppose.#4 couldn't get it done off the drop last week and not to confident about Jacobs. I will take my chances and try to beat him again. ,#5,#6 and #8 I will toss as non competitors.

I will probably use 2-7/1-2-3-4-7/1-2-3-4-7.I don't know if I will see too much value on these two other than mabey a triple.

Wow just got back...What prices across the board on the winner #4.

#2 and #7 went off heavily bet and got beat for the top top spot.#7 was brutilized and just got nipped by the cover trip winner.Tough to play the value with consistancy on the half especially at Freehold...they just don't win that often.I wouldn't have played this horse even if I was here because of it.

I am hearing some real destressful reports from horsemen on the state of the once called "Afternoon Delight" Freehold Raceway.Only a few tellers and a very limited amount of employees throughout the faciliy these days. Nobody other than the diehards returning on a daily basis.

I don't doubt what you say is true about vending machines Cubbymac.I look at it this way, if the M1 suffered the way it did this meet, then Freehold will really feel some hard times with their afternoon schedule and the non- attraction of the bigger bettors.

Botster.... Having moved up to ct last year I haven't been to the m or fhld in a year but my best friend tells me the vending machine story it's just sad..

Last year I went to the m and it was depressing the whole part of the building upstairs past the finish line is shut down I was talking to the ladies that run the owners boxes that they were thinking of tearing down the grandstand and building a new modern facility on the backstretch... And just moving the wire to the backside

Freehold and the meadowlands are dead....and Yonkers is just loving every minute of it.... I may go to yr this weekend it's just an awesome facility and great payouts there's no more of the old 5.40 exactas those days are long gone
