I just noticed "equipment changes" are being listed, (new since July?)

Such as tonight's program Race 10

Equipment changes: MAJORED IN LOVE 7/17 remove Murphy Blind MS GOLIATH 8/14 side rolls to blinkers.

With little regard to embarrassing myself, This is the change made on that date, right? or is it an intended change tonight?

Thanks for any response.

Hey Ray, is looks and sounds as if the changes was made on that date for that race and onward...I don't know tho...

That is a nice feature added to a program...I never had any dealings with Horseplayers Interactive before, so I don't even know what their free program would look like....I strictly use the Trackmaster Pace Performances....But I do wish TM would look into that feature...

I wouldn't think that most of the average players would know how to use that feature to advantage anyway....I don't know that much about all the equipment either, except maybe for Bridle and Hopples-length changes, and a few little oddities, or at least they were the only things that I found useful enough to use in my handicapping...(and maybe stuffed rags up the butt, I learned about that recently, haha)

Ray, when and if you find out for sure, could you post your finding on this ?

best,

Thanks for the reply, John

The changes are for the date listed, as I looked further into it I saw changes listed for 2 different dates for the same horse. (Race 2)

"Equipment change: TAKE MY PULSE 6/26 ksb to blind bridle 6/12 blind bridle to ksb "

I would like to see this info in TrackMaster Programs, (maybe I'll put it on their blog). but I wonder how hard it would be to list probable changes when a horse is dropped into the box for today's program. THAT would be useful as I can't watch or
listen to the track info at post time for all places but that could alert me to one that I would want to check out.

I make regular notes in my program for equipment changes.

The changes are for dates shown in the program.

You can cross check at this site for the Aug 20 program which is still up.

Unfortunately, the program pages are set up before the deadline for making equipment changes.

At least the Woodbine people put up the changes in black and white one or two hours before post time which is a plus.

Thanks for the info, Sea Biscuit

Do you have a link to the changes when they become available? Is it free or a subscription service?

thx again

You are right

A "probable changes listing" would just start an endless loop of "changes to the changes to the ....":)

I guess I need more coffee, tough night...
