If you are still willing to eat there (for free), then what do you care?

Having worked my way thru college in restaurants, I'd be more concerned with what you "can't", or "don't" see.

As a result, I'm a good cook, and don't eat out much except on special social occassions. ;)

It gets more and more difficult each day to sort through all the various new threads , there are so many , and extract those that are nothing more than wear & tear on my mouse . This is one of them .

While on vacation in Arizona, my family and I stopped at a coffee shop to get a bite to eat. My sons and I saw the biggest cockroach we've ever seen. No lie -- it was about 2 inches to 2.5 inches long and about 2 inches wide. Fortunately, it was on the outside of the building sunning itself on the hot walls.

I pointed it out to a lady and her kids sitting on the patio having the drinks. The kids thought it was cool. Her face contorted and I thought she was going to get sick right there. She immediately gathered up her brood and left.

When I was a young man, I used to deliver meat to restaurants and such, and some really "swanky" ones at that, and most wouldn't care to believe what is true, roach-wise....

They are there, they are everywhere....."Out of sight, out of mind", but the are "there" all the same....

So, the only alternative that you have, is to "stop eating"....:jump:

In Houston, 2.5 inches roaches are called Gnats..........

In San Antonio, 4 inches is about right, and they can fly.......!!

Put the hot peppers on. It will drown out the taste of anything undesirable.

Two all beef patties,
special sauce, lettuce cheese,
pickles, roaches on a sesame seed bun.

don't worry about it, if you have eaten in your life you have a little roach motel in there somewhere.

There's got to be a Euell Gibbons story lurking in the background, dd. Roasted roaches with marshmellow chasers?

You won't get an argument from me. I'm sure you and roaches are true soul mates and have been operating on the same wave length since the day you were born.

Careful there now Boxie. Just remember MIB. You start squishing those little bugs and the big bug won't like it.

Oh. This thread is about bugs. Sorry. I was thinking of a different roach....
