Denise's Gift is a 2 year old filly about to make her first start at Del Mar on Thursday, Aug 13th. She's trained by Jorge Periban and will be ridden by Victor Espinoza.
Named after Denise Darvall, the donor in the world's first successful human heart transplant in 1967, Denise's Gift will hopefully raise awareness for organ donation via Donatelife.
She will start at Del Mar on Thursday, August 13th in Race #4, a $40,000 Maiden Claiming race. She's breaking from post position #3. Post time is 3:30 PST.
