8 seconds left...Titans lead Bills 21-16. They take a safety on purpose and the final score is 21-18. Line was Titans -3 ! The safety made it a push.

For an exhibition game, about 1000-1 against. I've seen safeties taken at the end of regular season games before, to avoid the possibility of a blocked punt.

I've seen that a few times before too. Definitely avoids the block or a mistake. Any time left on the clock, they use the free kick to kick it very far downfield, and that return would have to go all the way back for the TD to lose.

You think the Bookmakers had so much action on Titans minus 3 someone made a call and told them to take the safety so they can refund all bets....

To me it makes no sense to bet on a pre-season football game , in any manner .

Just about as smart as betting on tennis the week before a major.

Investigation?

The NFL doesnt' even acknowledge that gambling exists, they aren't going to investigate anything.
