I have to back Leparoux's mounts in all three races.

Race 7: Reb was shut off in deep stretch, dropped to last and still closed to win the prep race for this event. Deep closer might offer some value.

Race 8: I like Tizaqueena's gameness (and big price likely here), but Pure Clan has run by her twice in both meetings.

Race 9: I wanted to look elsewhere but going to back Einstein with Gio Ponti.

Based on a Yielding course:

Race #7 Secretariat - We love #8 Reb, our top selection in the race. Also, need to use #7 Take The Points, #2 Hoosier Kingdom and #10 Giant Oak for exotics.

Race #8 Beverly D - #2 Pure Clan is the horse to beat, with #3 Points of Grace, #7 Dynaforce, #6 Tizaqueena, and #5 Mad About You behind.

Race #9 Million - Due to the yielding course, have to give #1 Einstein the slight edge over #6 Gio Ponti. Also, don't be surprised if #7 Gloria De Campeao runs well. For gimmicks, also use #5 Mr. Sidney, #2 Presious Passion and #8 Cima De Triomphe.

Reb ran like crap. I might lean toward Tizaqueenza in the next one since the speed is holding on the turf.

Anyone think Recapturetheglory has a shot in the Million with the way speed is holding? I might include him with Gomez riding.

Now I know why I never play Einstein. When I'm on him (which has only been twice), he runs awful. Bet against him, he wins.

Once First Passage missed the break, I basically said "not happening today." :bang:

#8 CIMA DE TRIUMPHE

the trainer has made me money in dubai and in stakes races in australia and the jockey has made some serious coin playing japan.

That was my play, w/Gio and Just As well. I posted a history on another board, 4th to Sea of Stars, and he beat Conduit. And heck, the jock won a race against Deep Impact!

The #3 Just As Well had OUTSTANDING sire and broodmare stats on Turf, and the trainer is hot hot hot over at Saratoga.

I had boxed those in a tri. That #4 horse screwed my tri and super. I was so excited cause I thought for sure I had wired this race.
