A random sample of favorites includes the following:

www.news.google (to compare/contrast coverage of the same story from different sources)

www.opensecrets.org (for those interested in learning who bought their representatives and/or senators)

www.randi.org (website of magician James "The Amazing" Randi, a frequent guest on the Tonight Show w/Johnny Carson who helped make life difficult for folks like Uri Geller and Peter Popoff)

www.agonybooth.com (for lovers of bad movies--if it's a movie about a living creature that grows to giant-size after being exposed to radiation, I've probably seen it)

www.paulweller.com and www.stevehackett.com are just two of many music sites I visit
