Does anyone know a way to legally wager in Nevada without going to a casino?

I thought that some Nevada outfits had phone betting for Nevada residents. No?

Yes

Some of the casinos have phone betting options.

They stopped taking phone bets.

If you'd like to call Coast Casinos, I know 100% that they do.

Coast Casinos & The Southpoint Casino accept pari mutuel phone betting from Nevada residents.

I know the Sunset Station (and I'm assuming other Station properties) did, but haven't been there in a while. I'll be in Vegas the beginning of next week and will check!

No horse bets, only sports bets at Stations by phone.

Also in addition to Coast & South Point, Wynn also has pari mutuel phone betting for Nevada residents on horses.

Maybe Dave or someone can answer this:

With Leroys, can you open an account with them and then use their kiosks to place your bets? I really am not hot on phone wagering unless it is using touch tone with no operator. My second choice would be going to a nearby casino and not have to travel to Reno.

You can't legally wager on horses ONLINE anywhere in Nevada. They don't even have a closed-loop (basically, dial into a dedicated server) system for horses.

You CAN bet horses legally by phone with either Coast Resorts or Philadelphia Park Phonebet. If you go with the latter, they'll allow phone betting, but they won't allow you to use their web-bet interface.

I don't know why the Gaming Control Board allows Philadelphia to do this, but it's been that way for years.
