Good one...too bad all most will see from that poster is Obama in "White Face" and shout racism at the top of their lungs...completely missing the point...but yet again, using that racism hammer that the Dem Party so dearly loves and so nicely uses to fill its war chests full of greenbacks....

There are many things you'll never get because they're way beyond you.

But in the interest of being "fair and balanced", there are some things I'll never understand either, such as what people see in BO. Or how they can put so much trust in this serial liar? How can they hang on his every empty word? These kinds of things I'll never understand because they defy reason, common sense, decency and even human dignity.

BTW, this thing has already hit the news:

http://www.chicagotribune.com/ktla-obama-posters,0,7338651.story

I particularly liked this quote, considering what they did to Bush over the years:

"Depicting the president as demonic and a socialist goes beyond political spoofery," says Hutchinson, "it is mean-spirited and dangerous."

"We have issued a public challenge to the person or group that put up the poster to come forth and publicly tell why they have used this offensive depiction to ridicule President Obama."MEAN-SPIRITED!!!    DANGEROUS??????

This Hutchinson fella is a real hoot....

Freedom of speach, especially political speach, is what it is all about.

Tom, when are you going to get it!? That doesn't count! The only thing that counts now is that someone dared to do this to the unholy one who currently is defiling the white house and bringing shame to the office.

Gotta love the stir this thing is causing:

http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2022326/is_the_obama_joker_picture_racist.html?cat=9

Listen to this quote from Steven Mikulan in the LA Weekly...holy shit people have flipped their lids:

"The poster, which bears a very superficial resemblance to Shepard Fairey's famous Obama (http://www.associatedcontent.com/topic/29209/barack_obama.html) Hope illustration, has been pasted on freeway supports and other public surfaces. It has a bit of everything to appeal to the drunk tank of California (http://www.associatedcontent.com/theme/1400/traveling_to_california.html) conservatism: Obama (http://www.associatedcontent.com/topic/29209/barack_obama.html) is in white face, his mouth (like Ledger's Joker's) has been grotesquely slit wide open and the word "Socialism" appears below his face. The only thing missing is a noose."

The following, is of course, the common sense rebuttal to the absolute nonsense posted above from Mr. Mikulan:

A noose? One wonders where Mikulan got that?

Mind, white performers wearing black face and singing and acting in a racist, stereotypical manner in minstrel shows were popular in the 19th Century and well into the 20th until such performances became socially unacceptable. But there have been no documented cases of African American performers doing the equivalent in "white face." The closest one can come to is a pair of scenes in the film Coming to America where Eddie Murphy played a cantankerous, elderly Jewish gentleman in a barber shop. The performance was hilarious.

The racially charged notion of "The only thing missing is a noose" seems to be a typical playing of the race card. There is nothing in the Obama (http://www.associatedcontent.com/topic/29209/barack_obama.html) Joker Picture that suggests race. The caption "Socialism" suggests a political attack more than anything else. The accusation seems to be a way to try to stop debate and to smear the people, whomever they are, who have been distributing the Obama (http://www.associatedcontent.com/topic/29209/barack_obama.html) Joker Picture.

Go ahead. Hide behind race every time. It will then become a reason why no one will vote for another person of color.

The Joker's!

Correct, I had some "hope" that after he was elected that he would REALLY exhibit the joker traits that I know he has, but he is just a step and fetch-it for the same scum that ran the Bush admin.

We need the real joker , this place needs to be torn up at random.

A corrupt criminal gangster ridden madhouse is all that's left of the country it used to be.

A real joker is needed to run such a place.

Come on bama , turn it up and get on with it.

as to race, nothing to do with it and when did white cease to be a color, o I get it. :D

Why don't you jog our memories with a few headlines, or news columns or editorials and such that outright criticized or condemned the joker act during Bush's tenure? I'm sure you'll find someplace from which to pull those.

If you're talking in terms of raw brain power, doggie would barely qualify for Strawweight in the WBC.

Well, when cj's dad said he'd bring the gloves, I presumed some physical fisticuffs. But, I could be wrong. It might be mental gymnastics instead.

In any event, who's going to hold the bets?

There might be a problem even with this. Doggie would probably insist that some Brown Shirt hold 'em.
