Wednesday Night IBF2 Model Picks

As soon as the scratches are up, I'll be posting the model's plays for tonight at PEN, CT, & EVD. Hopefully, we'll have multiple opportunities from each track.

Looks like we'll be rooting for some "ils sont partis" horses this evening.

EVD Race 6: Not sure if the 6 would have done better than 2nd running some other way, but that was not anywhere close to the pace scenario I expected. I'm not sure why the jockey was trying to use him up so early, but it worked, lol, 2nd at 5/1.

PEN Race 6: No real excuse for the 7 who just wasn't good enough tonight 4th at 6/1.

EVD Race 6: We go 0/3 with another 2nd place at 3/1. Another race where it seemed we were in good position and just didn't get the job done.

EVD Race 9: The 3 as the 2/1 favorite didn't show up at all. We're on a roll tonight. :bang:

The only good news from this race was that since the 3 was 3/2 for much of the betting, I wasn't paying attention, and only noticed the 2/1-9/5 odds too late to get my bet in....not much consolation.

EVD Race 10: And we complete the sweep, going 0/5 tonight in American night racing, grrrr. The 10 ran 2nd at 7/2 to the heavy favorite. As usual in these maiden claimers, if you are too far back early, you are severely compromised, and the 10 had to run 4 wide rounding the final turn to get into striking postion. Unfortunately, Lady Burner didn't have enough left to run down the favorite.

I guess we should have played ASD & NP instead! YUCK!
