View Full Version : live Racing Video: Good news for Nevada residents

This may be old news. If so, sorry.

YouBet is now accepting customers from Nevada for their live race video coverage. Nevada residents still can't wager with YouBet, and the video service is $14.95 a month (less for longer-term plans). Nevada residents wanting to bet with a legal offtrack company who don't want the hassle of dealing with phoning Nevada racebooks can open a betting account with Philadelphia Phonebet but have to use their phone betting service (i.e. can't use the internet betting side).

If you sign up, tell them PaceAdvantage sent you.

Was it in the Miami Herald?

Dave Schwartz: I got it by trying to register and getting the message that I couldn't wager but could use the other services.

The best move is to phone YouBet. The change is very recent, and not all of the YouBet phone reps know about it. If they say no, tell them that the rule about Nevada is changed to allow the use of everything but wagering and have them check it out with a supervisor.

Tried again. The rep, the supervisor and the guys they called in Oregon insisted that Nevada residents do not have access.
