I am happy to share my "LIVE" selections with you.
All of my plays are to be played to Win and/or Place only! (I post the Place Payoffs also)
However if you like to play Exotics these are Great Keys!
I am a Tote board Reader. I have designed my own program the operates in real time with Live Tote Feeds. I only use the Money to handicap.
I use nothing else to aid me in my handicapping whatsoever. I am a Volume Player, I play many races thru the day!
I will post the selections as soon as I can! This may vary from say 5 min to post to almost post time, so be ready!... as they are "Live"!
I will NEVER past post. Play at your own Risk!... Remember to Re-fresh your page right before post time if you do not see my selection !

4) The Post Time odds


I also from time to time will give an "UPDATE!" on all my plays and Profits/Losses and ROI as time permits between races.
All Profits & Losses will be based on a $2.00 per wager to Win, then you can just multiply it by whatever you like to wager per play!

I want to help explain what it takes to tail (follow) me in this fast paced "LIVE" Play selections. You need to be able to do at least 3 things ...

1) You need to be very organized. Be ready at a moments notice. Please have your track loaded & the amount of your Wagers also loaded with your book. Then when my selection is posted you can then select your horse number and hit send! This is what I do!
Refresh your page often to get my play!

2) Do NOT use an offshore book as they tend to close the races way too early. This is another battle to contend with & will be a hit and miss on making your wagers!

3) May I suggest who I use ... PhoneBet & Premier Turf Club (http://www.premierturfclub.com/).. I can make my wagers even as they are loading them into the gate! "OFF" is off with them and you can make your play till then! These are a few helpful tips if you are serious about trying to tail me and what I do! If not, don't get discouraged if you get shut out on some! So do I at times. Remember to Play at your "OWN" Risk

This just takes a bit of practice to get the timing down.

Short-term successful or not, I think Ultimate deserves a lot of credit for putting his picks out there publicly for all to see and criticize. Maybe his intro borders a bit on bravado but I certainly wouldn't put my selections out there for this crowd to see.

It's a no-win situation. Either you literally don't win and the critics make you painfully aware of it or you do win and your selections start getting hammered at the windows by the audience.

One thing I've learned from my own process of selecting is that a day or even a week don't mean that much overall in terms of results. I'm more interested in performance over the course of six months or a year. That being said, I don't think that Ultimate or Anderon have convinced any of us that tote-watching or tote-reacting is a path to financial independence.

Nonetheless, good luck to them and it is certainly entertaining to follow the picks.

As far as charting not being a successful endeavor, I would add that if technicians had the auto-bet programs that the fundamentalist have today, things would change for the better.


I started charting the tote many years ago after being frustrated by seeing a horse win at big odds, with nothing that I could pick out in the PP's. However, a look at the tote chart often revealed a suspicious betting pattern.

While I only bet as a hobby and seldom, except for Saratoga, visit the race track, I am far more successful reading the tote than I ever was reading the PP's. Also, the more I read on this board the more I'm convinced that I will never know all the variables that are needed to be a successful fundamentalist.

Hi Dale,

I believe that toteboard reading is just as a good or better than any other handicapping method such as reading PP, Pace, or any other handicapping that is done in this sport. To me it's all interpretation of the information that is at hand and how you decide to apply it to your madness. The reason I say this is because over a given 6 months to a year of proven results from any handicapping method is any of it going to knock it out of the park consistantly and be way and above the rest? Now I know that this method is not for everyone but I can tell you this, from my 32 years or so of doing this method, for me I have alot easier time getting winners than doing any other methods of handicapping. Believe it or not there is a tremendous amount of variables just in the toteboard alone to achieve a winner on a regular basis. I guess what I'm really trying to say is that other methods really are not any better than what I'm doing from all that I have tried and seen over my years. Now I will say that toteboard reading is really a whole other ball game when it comes to handicapping and understanding it. It's not just looking at odds and money but really trying to read what the intent of the money being played and when it is played as to what it means. I think there is a world of information in the tote just as there is in PP and other methods, but it all comes down to one thing, interpretation. My interpretation is that all the smart handicappers and all the other info available to handicappers all ends up in one place and that is in the toteboard. So my theory is, I handicap the handicappers. I do this from the way the horses are played in the pools by what I think is smart money by the best handicappers and even owners or trainers in the world, because when they make a big move it ends up only in place, and that is the toteboard. :)

Oh no, not at all Dale. I was just trying to communicate that the toteboard has alot of handicapping to it as well as all the other methods of handicapping. I think most people maybe don't really realize that there is alot to it other than just looking at the odds and ML and such. :)
