Bel last race payouts

I dont get this. Must be some unique N.Y. rule. Last race pk4 payout is 6-7-5-all. Pk6 is 1-5-6-7-5-all. The favorite won the last. Usually if the favorite wins the last leg of the pk4 or pk6,there is one co mingled payout for the winning favorite and the scratched horses only,not the entire field.

We had another brief monsoon and the race came off the turf after the first leg ( or legs in the case of the Pick-6 ) of both bets had been run thus the race became an " all " race in terms of the Pick-4 and Pick-6.

I still dont get it. Races are taken off the turf all the time but they dont pay out on "all" because of that.

The rule only applies if the race is taken off the turn after the first race in the series.

If a race in either a Pick-4 sequence or a Pick-6 sequence is taken off the turf AFTER at least one leg of that bet has been run, it becomes an " all " race for the purpose of that particular bet.
