This thread is a tribute to Foolish Pleasure, who, while not a TC winner, was every bit the champion we think about when discussion of the Golden Age of racing is brought up. Many remember him as the "other horse" in the Great Match Race against Ruffian. But, he was so much more. It's been decades since Foolish Pleasure graced the race tracks of America with his presence, but he still has people, fans, that love him and cherish his memory. To that end, I dedicate these pages to one of the greatest race horses we'll ever be privileged to see. Foolish Pleasure was a Champion and my 'friend'.

The link below was created by JoanieD as a lasting memory of her friend, Foolish Pleasure. The link will end on 1 August, so enjoy the memories.

I enjoyed checking out the tribute page to FP. He reminded me more of Tom Fool (although he was before my time) than his sire What A Pleasure. Do any oldtimers on here remember seeing Tom Fool run? I know he was a great weight carrier.
