For the first time, I looked at the pedigrees of Rachel A and Curlin. I know some things about pedigrees, but I am in no way an expert. I know some of you, on this board, could be considered experts. My impression of the mating is, the colt or fillie could be a potential monster. The sire and dam lines are exceptional.
I would like to hear some of you who are more knowledgable than I. Those of you understanding all the breeding implications, crosses and in-bred scenarios etc. From my own db, I know the Raise A Native and Northern Dancer lines have produced the most classic winners over the past 30 years.
