They needed someone to slow down Howard..Shaq is about the only one out there that can do that. He'll probably split time with Zydrunas throughout the year. Shaq will probably start because he has a much bigger ego then Z..They only gave up Wallace, Pavlovic, a 2nd round pick and 500k. There team is better now after the trade imo..Wallace has no offense and is thinking about retirement. Pavlovic has talent but his head is not in the game half the time.

Maybe I am reading more into this, but if this trade really comes off - and apparently it isn't final yet - don't you think it is because Cav's management was looking to add a "finals star" to Lebron & company?

Or maybe it was Shaq who wants to get back into "contender-land."

Either way, it will make for some nice drama next year during the playoffs.

Howard man handled Zydrunas in Eastern Conference Finals..With Shaq on the floor..That won't happen so easily..Shaq might not stop him, but he'll sure slow him down..Cleveland is looking to make additional moves. Tonights draft will be interesting..Rumor has it, that the Cavs might trade up to get Ricky Rubio..
