Betting Win and Key Box Exactas a/bc

Mohawk R5...........139 Gutsy Volo ~8/1
won a lot of races in '08 17/29 just 1 this yr, good FQT in last best ave TM speed nos
needs to stop surrendering ground at start, rail will help some

Mohawk R9...........317 Joans Bad Boy ~8/1
Got a couple of checks at Kawartha but this is a much tougher field, is improving, Macdonell drives
Morning Line guy must have had trouble with this one too, almost made them all 7 or 8 /1 (7/2 fav)

Yonkers R2..........814 Lost In The Keys ~8/1
8 hole at Yonkers is usually a bad pick and this one may be one also but she trotted
European style last week, (grinding it on the outside) against tougher from pp7 and fin 2L back

Yonkers R5..........123 Falcatraz ~8/1
Rail pick, that's more like it:) pp1-70%, pp2-21%, pp3-18% ...(% more wins than expected by chance)
#1... 2nd try in the 20k's (from the 25's), some people play that angle, hope they're right

Good Luck Everyone

BTW
After looking at BMLP R12 chart for yesterday, My Bell Boy's cover was dead, he goes on my watch list.

My Bell Boy pp8 8/12T 8/8H 8°/8H 6/6T 3/3H 1:55.1 27.3 10.80

28.1 28.3 29.1 28.3

I finally found out how to preserve spacing without using dots. :)

I have 1 I think has a great shot today.

Mohawk Race 1

1 Driftwood

Draws 8 hole last out, Gets down, in last, 18 lengths back. Tried to move, but ran into dead cover, then finished hard up the rail, gaining 3 lengths, and passing 2 horses in the stretch. Now draws the rail. 8/1 M/L.

Last race's fractions

31.1---30---29---29.1

Hey Off, I agree with RAy on this issue....The only thing more volatile in harness racing other the 2yo-trotters, is 3yo-trotters....I have found no matter how good a green and lightly raced trotter may look, they are always a risk to break stride, and even if that doesn't happen, if one of the others DOES, he could take your horse out of the action, or at least cause your horse to lose some valuable ground in the process....So even if you have the best one in the race, if the above happens, it doesn't matter much in the end if your horse is at any disadvantage during the running of the mile....Me personally, have found it very prudent to stay away from those types of races....And, I believe once I had gotten that thru my noggin, I have saved a lottakash over the years...It is so hard to win any race, let alone a race fraught with danger....

I could take a flyer on your pick as well, as he has some merit in his form...but I believe he will be too low a price at off time to make it worth any while....imo..nothing to win and the danger factor....

There ya go Ray. Since you were out of the survival contest, you have a lot more time to handicap on the races that produce winners and you are doing great. Keep it up, things will go your way.
