Which tracks are you most satisfied with (for value) in each category?
Food and beverage; general track prices; speed of betting lines; least racing delays; most curteous; helpful to new horseplayers?

Sorry that I wouldn't have a clue as to how to answer that question.

But I might pose another one: How many of the players on this forum still go to the physical plant, stand in line to buy tickets, and eat the hot dogs?

I like the smaller tracks. Even though I live near Del Mar I would rather go to Emeral Downs.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes and yes. That's why I go to Oaklawn annually (except last year-Health) and I do love going to their physical plant, buy tickets and eat hot dogs. More like the best corned beef sandwiches you've ever eaten.

Oh yes, did I mention the beautiful young women? Nothing like watching those young fillies sprint to the windows to collect. Yeeeee Hawwww!

I think that Tampa Bay Downs offers great value and service in all of the categories that you mention.

If you ever venture thru Nebraska, my home track in Grand Island (Fonner Park) has a simulcast facility that rivals most vegas sportsbooks. Plenty of tv's and tracks to bet on. As many as 17 tracks on a given Sat. or Sun. Now if I could only find away to get my form and beer free, I'd never go to vegas!

K E E N E L A N D

Excellent food at reasonable prices and good value on beer compared to most venues. (Plus a free cab home if you drink too much.)

$3 general admission. Lots of clerks. Few late scratches.

Excellent customer relations staff.

Beautiful venue too!
