Norman has 2 possibilities off the claim thurs...
Shanty Creek just missed last out to Cart's horse, who's also entered here. Since SC worked well after the last race, he s/b ok to roll. Only take @ 5-2 or better.
The other one I may wait until he gets to LS to bet him. Kid de Naskra has some early speed, but the favorite looks pretty solid. Putting Neusch up is a possible tip off that Norman isn't gunning for the win, but he pulled the same stuff with Lovato (jj's pistolette, simps) when Gonzo was the unquestioned MAIN jock for him last spring/ summer.
Oddly, the owner (turf express) almost always runs horses right back into winning positions (ramsley at OP, keleb ridge, madame charisse at LaD) very quickly, but this one is getting 3 weeks off.
In other words, the 'Kid' may win, but he'll do it w/o me this time.
