CNBC just ran some numbers; first the numbers the current administration claims needs healthcare insurance, and then the numbers of those uninsured who are in 3 camps:
1) they are illegal aliens
2) they are eligible for Medicaid or a program to insure children but haven't signed up
3) those that make 2x the poverty level, which equates to $44K or more for a family of 4. This also have chosen to go insurance free

Kicking out these 3 groups, the number of uninsured falls from 45 million to under 9 million.

Not surprised the state would inflate the numbers or misrepresent them in order to create a health care "crisis". Gotta love the veracity of politicians. They make used car salespeople look like saints by comparison.

I've heard these numbers discussed recently from a couple of different conservative commentators. If what the opposition claims are the real numbers are themselves misrepresentations, and, the truth is some where in between. In other words, it's all a pack of lies.
