8th race coming up Wednesday.

Field lacks proven quality but has a few decent runners.
Stevil isn't a bad horse and is trying 1st turf here.
No Mesa With Me and Rabbit Tracks could win without shocking anyone as well.

Nicanor should handle this field, and the quirky track configuration with the chute should only help him with his speed and inside post.

I am not personally playing against, but the 3 I mentioned 4,5,8 could be considered in a win dutch here. Exactas and Place could all blow up if he were to finish out. Crazy pool here with Nicanor already 21K out of a total 25K WPS pool with 9 Minutes remaining.

I think I will just watch this one. I expect a strong win. For those who feel he could be weak this is a good time.

thought he ran fairly well. He had a little bit of company to get to the chute-turn from Stevil, and then they eased off and he held on well enough.

I don't know the Delaware track at all, but the fractions for the race seemed very slow. Can anone give any insight into this race? Will his numbers be "Race Horse" numbers? Especially, if he is to jump up to a Graded Race in his next out.

he'll be in trouble against better horses. he looks to have gotten an easy lead and was really laboring at the end.

He seems to me that he looks like he would be ok in Grade II company.

He seems to me that he looks like he would be ok in Grade II company.mike matz is top notch trainer. he know's exactly what he is dealing with, the horse has improved every single race. one thing for sure, he loves the turf. so nicanor will probably never be a dirt champion. in any case i am happy for the people that own the horse. they seem to be good dedicated horse people. i wish nothing but the best for them and their horse.

I was so happy he won another one...and thought about all the folks that were pretty much mocking this colt when he first started...he's really coming along and I'm so happy for Matz and the owners.
I hope he goes on and wins the Virginia Derby...hope he gets good enough to compete on the turf in the BC...maybe the Mile?
Gotta disregard the times...seems they were all slow over that track...he won, so that's all I need to be a happy camper:jump:
