Check the websites of the tracks you follow for stake nominations, found mainly under the horsemen links. Usually they are only posted a week or so prior to the actual race, but sometimes tracks like Del Mar and Churchill will list them sooner. For example Churchill will post the nominees to their 2yo stake, run sometime Derby week, around the middle part of April, and while only 10 or so horses will actually make the race there are usually around 50 horses nominated.
