Rapid population loss has to be addressed somehow to be viable for the remaining population.
Transition towns are already high on the political agenda to cope with near future lack of oil, cash, resources and commodities for regional, let alone international trade. USA has highest dependency and will be worst hit.

The thing about the USA is we have everything we need right here. We can start it back up and make and grow all of our needs. As soon we get rid of euro-trash prez, we will do what it takes to survive. No help is needed from abroad, thank you.
