Possible Overlays - BEL 05-30 (Selected Races)

I've attached a PDF file with My odds calculations and highlighted what I think are the possible overlay situations in races I deem playable.
I set a 50% line, which means I'm looking a sucess rate of just 20%, 1 out of 5 winners to achieve a profit.

I lost the 1st race betting on the (3) which was the higher priced overlay.
There were no overlays in the 3rd but had the top 3 finishers and I'm not an exacta bettor and it didn't do me much good. So as it stands I'm 0 for 1.
My next race is race - 6.

In race (6) the only possible overlay (3) was a scratched so for me this was another no play race. So I remain 0 for 1
We still have the 8th and the 9th to go.

I lost the 8th and 9th race as well. This can be expected when one plays the overlays. Winning 1 out of 5 races is the expectancy. On average, this can be achieved but one has to have the ability and patience to withstand protracted losing streaks. 0 for 3 on the day and then there's tomorrow. :cool:

I added 3 more losing races today at belmont but ended my losing streak of 6 in a row with a nice winner that I posted to my blog, facebook and twitter (before the fact). This put me on the plus side.
