Since I posted my gripes against the DRF as a new thread, it' s only fair I air the resolution in the same way (who said journalists can't be fair? :) )
Marc at DRF made sure my complaint about not being to get the Simulcast DRF got into the right hands. I got quick resolution from an excellent DRF distribution manager for my area and as a result the Simulcast issue will begin coming to an even more convenient local store next week.
Newspapers, like every other business, are imperfect. We just have a more emotional attachment to the DRF because a) it costs $5 and b) without it, some of us are in a bind.
It turns out the retailer I was using was telling me the truth -- it's a long story -- but the moral is: THERE ARE TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY.
