Helmetta, NJ--ReRun, Inc., the nonprofit thoroughbred adoption program, is hosting its Third Annual “Day at the Races” at Monmouth Park Racetrack on June 13th. The event is ReRun’s largest annual fundraiser and will be held outside on the Patio Terrace this year. The benefit luncheon to raise funds for the adoption of ex-racehorses will begin at Noon and includes a silent auction, raffle, and a day of racing.
“The economy is taking its toll on horses and we are seeing a record number of horses in need of homes when their careers at the track are over,” said Felice Busto, ReRun Vice-President and Chair of the event. “We need the support of the racing community, fans, equestrians, and the public to show their support for Thoroughbred adoption by coming to this event.”
