CHESTER DOWNS
Race 1-
2 Big Al's Delight- Highest class in field, now dropping to 10 Claimer. Natural Meadowlands horse, shipping to Chester in last, and Paced in 1:54.3. The main contender to the 2 would be 8 Iron Legend who is the fastest in the field. My choice is the play due to the post position difference.
Race 2-
1 The Sweet Dion- This is a weak field, NW1 Trot. This horse trotted in 1:57.2 in last from the 1 hole. Lost by 3/4 of a length to todays 2 horse. I believe today is a different race, and this one will be at a price. Look Longshot in this one.
Race 3-
1 McKenzies Treasure- Draws 1 hole, fast time last out of a 1:55.1, and has George Brennan in the sulky. Led at top of stretch in last, before falling. Cleared lead in last at the 3/4 in a blazing 1:25. Will be able to slow it down here and have enough late!
Race 4-
3 G T's Graig- Dropped to this class last out and won by a convincing 3 3/4 lengths. Won race before here at Chester at a higher class in 1:53.4. Why the drop, not sure, but will win today, but maybe at too short of a price?
Race 5-
4 Maronite N- Very fast horse, pacing in a 1:54.1 in last 2 here at Chester. Both from setting a pressured pace to a 1/2 in 57.4, 3/4 in 1:25.2 and have enough to pass horses late. Current form is outstanding!
Race 6-
5 Lord of the Bling- Drops in class, and is able to pace in 1:54. Thats only a few tenths slower than fastest horse in the field. Not to mention Tim Tetrick OPTS ON for the first time. At 10-1 M/L????
Race 7-
3 Izzy Real- Not a fan of Burton, but horse is FAST! Pacing around a 1:54 at Pocono, whose speed rating is slower than Chester. I like the setup.
Race 8-
4 Yes Hanover- Claimed in last, and winning. Now is from the Davis barn, who is hitting at a 20% rate. Like the spot and choice in Brennan here.
Race 9-
3 Warning Zone- Miller rides this 50 Claimer shipper from the Big M. Has done well at the Big M pacing in around a 1:51, which is very fast for this field. Good spot with a good driver change.
Race 10-
6 Lets Get Serious N- ITM in each of Last 6 races, Winning 3 of them in a classy nature. Trotted in a blazing 1:53.2 in last. Form is on the downside, but can compete. If old form shows, you got a winner here.
Race 11-
5 True North Hanover- Great horse. Fastest in the field by a mile. Not sure of the driver Russell, as he hasn't driven horse well, but this one is now dropping a few classes and can beat these with a good trip.
Race 12-
5 Paper Cut- Tetrick is riding. Horse was parked 1/2 mile in last, and finished 3rd at Pocono in a 1:51.4. The race before that this one paced in a BLAZING 1:49.4 at Pocono. Both with Morrill Jr. BEST BET!!!!
Race 13-
1 True Desire- Know the Owner/Trainer. Have watched horse many times. This one is ready and has the rail with Brennan!!!! Pacing around a 1:52, and is now facing a little easier spot. Like the fit, 5-1 M/L, I will be taking a shot here!!!!
