That is what Steve Assmusen had to say today when asked about Rachel and future plans. "Big picture wise I think she should be the front runner for us for horse of the year. We need to make her schedule accordingly , she is a 3 year old filly in a very unique position and if there are no blemishes in the painting let's move forward"

I heard this in anTV interview with him when he got back to Churchill today. So I guess time will tell but it sure sounded like they would like to run.

That is FEMALE HOR, right? No Belmont Stakes or BC Classic. She sticks to female grade 1 or 2. My guess is MTB put a scare into her new connections! The plans are to breed Curlin to the best FILLY or MARE to come along in a long time.
I was talking about the Eclipse award for 3 yr old female- if she goes after the overall HOR I guess maybe she would have to compete again vs males??

I was thinking that kenwoodallpromos mistyped "HOY" (but, if so, he did it three times, and then didn't correct it when he had the chance). I'm not sure what toussaud's point was.

I predict that, all too soon, she will be HORS de combat.

Hoping I am wrong,
