saving $7 by not putting the Kathy Walsh favroite in in race 2 cost me $147. I guess I just thought the only way to get any value was to have two favorites lose. Live and learn.

don't feel badly. I saved $4 the other night by not using 3 horses in my pick 3 middle leg and played a $8 ticket instead of a $12. the result: pick 3 paid 7k. the 3rd pick I should have used was 50/1 on th ml. when the betting opened he was 3/1 and went off at 11/1. I knew he was gonna win and he did. live and hope I learned.
