#2 Mr. Reed (10/1) dueled to mid-stretch with the eventual winner in last and gave way as that one began to draw clear. Wasn’t going to win so why waste the effort. Could be a different ending today if the favorite hits a bump in the road.

Looks like a good spot for a firster since those with a start have shown little talent for the level. So I’m going with #4 Ringading (6/1). Of course she could be bet down which would support my claim but...
