Race 9- 5 Colonel Rutledge---looks like the live price shot (10-1 ml) in here. 1 for 1 turf and he came out of a sneaky good race that will get ignored because it was at CT. 8 Affirmatif is tough to toss and most likely winner, even if he is overbet, which is likely

Race 10--Going 3 deep in here; 2 Grand Traverse is definitely good enough and figures to get the rail trip. 5 Ah Day is usable but far from a lock, His win in the Tobaggon was more a result of the leaders coming back late but he is the logical closer here. 8 Ravalo is the other speed in here and he is 1 for 1 over the track. I'm tossing the Poly race out. I know he'd run well over the PID synth but the competition was much easier there than at Kee.

Race 11---1 Proudinsky--his last wasn't great but the riders were really avoiding the inside on the CD turf 2 weeks ago and he was inside. Definitely stronger 1/2 of entry. 3 Parading ran a monster race last time getting hung out very wide around the first turn and he blew the field away. I think the last Kee winner by 7 1/2 would've been over the old dirt track. 7 Wesley---I think he's getting overlooked. 1 for 1 with blinkers. I thought he ran a superior race to Kiss the Kid on Jan 10; really getting hurt by the slow pace.

Race 12---going three deep here: 1,7 and 13. Big Drama has proven he can handle 2 turns. Outfinished a monster miler in This Ones for Phil in his last. I think JRV will have him under some restraint and he and Rachel won't go too quickly. Papa Clem is my only use of Derby runners. His best race was his only fast track real dirt race and it was at 1 1/8 miles. Would be a great story if Stute won 23 years after his dad's horse won the race. 13---tough to find anything wrong with RA other than the weak competition in her last. Still. we have no idea how much she could've won by. But even with a subpar group of colts, this is much better than what she blew away 2 weeks ago. That and the post are the 2 questions. I see her much like Big Drama; good chance either of them will win but I doubt either will run 2nd or 3rd.

(5,8) with (2,5,8) with (1,3,7) with (1,7,13)

Apparently Proudinsky is out of the Dixie and I felt he was the stronger half of the entry. Replacing him with 8 Strike the deal.

I singled Affirmatif and Ravalo --- chalky, I know --- with 7,8 in leg (3), and 1,3,5,7,8 in the Preakness.

$2 win saver on Colonel Rutlege, also.
