Tuesday was full of action in the Harness Racing World. The Meadows offered a 16 Race Card, which was a value bettors worst nightmare. No horse won on the 16 race card over odds of 9/2. Top 2 Drivers on the day were Stillings and Tony Hall. Both winning 3 races a piece. In the 8th race, Prism K was parked the 1st 1/4 before clearing the lead. A photo at the line showed Prism K winning over Primo Spur. Both Tied the track record.
At Pocono Downs, there was more value in the way of winners. 4 Races on the 15 race card had winners of 10-1 or higher. Only 5 of the 15 were won by the post time favorite. There was a 3 way tie for the leading driver on the day. Tim Tetrick, Anthony Napolitano, and Joe Pavia all won 3 on the day. There was 1 VERY fast race for the class. Race 9, NW$4,250L5 or 3EXTPM, the race was won by 1/9 favorite, Ok Braveheart. The race was run in 1:52.0. The same class was also run in race 14, in which the race was run in 1:54.3.
Balmoral was another chalk track on Tuesday. The highest odds winners was 9/2. The leading driver on the day was Dave Magee with 3 wins. It was a fairly boring card with no value, which is not normal for Balmoral.
On Wednesday, Action picks up with most major tracks running. Meadowlands offers a 9 race card, 6 Pace and 3 Trot races. Harrahs Chester also has 13 race card, 12 of which has a full 8 horse field. With 9 Pace, 4 Trots, and only 1 race with a purse below $10,000, the races look to be competitive and contain a chance at some major value. By just betting a $2 win bet on the Post Time favorites on Tuesday at The Meadows, you would have been +$24.60. It looks as though today is going to be another chalk day.
