Big 11 race card on Saturday. Lots of horses coming from New York and GP. It looks good early on.

Hoping it clears out by first post.....you would think that after all the rain this week it would be sunny and fast...

Weather looks a little shaky, not enough to stop me. I'm heading down.

DRF is all marked up...Lezcano looks to have another monster meet. If he sticks around, hot commodity in Elmont.

Let's see if Monmouth has Wi-Fi...I will beleive it when I see it.

Ryerson just 17-141 wins last year and in 2007 14-91 wins
Volk wasn't much better 2007 he was 12-53 wins. Look out for
Broome and Orseno this meet as well as servis and levine.

It was a real nice crowd. Actually it was a big crowd. The weather behaved, and the people kept coming throughout the afternoon.

Picnic area was packed.

The Wi-Fi situation was weak. Hit or miss throughout the afternoon. I gave up.

Took some good snap shots. Will post some later.

There was a buzz about race 4. True Wood vs Chicken Wing. No Alydar and Affirmed, but the race generated a lot of buzz. A 5G claimer. It was great. Chicken Wing was the hot horse on the backside. Must have heard his name 20 times.

For 5k true wood was in a nice spot went against much tougher earlier this year at Aqueduct someone put a lot on him to win! If they keep him right here he will win again.
