Newbie here wanting to know what your criteria are for picking from the tote? Bet downs, last minute bet downs, etc? Also, do you have time to bet when you make these tote selections? Thanks.

My criteria is a complex one that involves alot of calculations from the WPS and Exacta pools. I do a minute by minute progression of these pools and then do an intense calculation to them to see how hard they are played by my calculations. I look for the horses that are played more or harder than they should be compared to the rest of the field. You do have time to wager on these but you have to be ready with your online ADW and preload the track that is next up by post time. My selections are right at post as I need to get the latest tote info as possible but I will also get them posted with about 1 minute to post if at all possible. Refresh your page as often as possible to get the selection as fast as possible. I hope this helps. :)

I'm trying to win on these selections. I've been a toteboard player for over 31 years. These selections can be played by your own preference. Today does seem to be 2nd itus today tho. :)

I had played 1/35/352 and it came in 1-3-5 before inquiry, which was $258 something. Now, changed to 1-5-2, which I still had but only made $130 or so HALF of what the original call was :(

My program works on anything and everything because I focus on the money of how the horse gets played. I look for horses that are played harder than they should be for their odds, some might say an underlay, I want to play horses that I know they are getting action, I don't want an overlay or horses that are played less than they should be for their odds.

Have you shifted your focus? Wasn't your original intent to bet short priced favorites that were getting betting action based on your parameters. Now it seems your focus is higher priced bets. Naturally, your win % has suffered and with it longer losing streaks.

My true favorites have now completed 12 months. The ROI is 27.2% for the year with only one losing month of -28%.

Number of bets was 182 with 80.4% win and 91.3% place. It would be interesting to see what would happen if your tote method was combined with my True Favorites-maybe it would hit 100% win?

Hi Sal, how have you been doin? I'm doing a little something new right now and want to see how things work out on it. I still have the Super chalk plays as well. I'll have to give you a call next week and we can discuss the True Favorites with my program and see what happens when we match up. Your numbers are right in line with my results with an ROI of about 55%. I'll talk to you next week...have a great weekend !! :)
