Excuse my ignorance, who is Jason Levin? Nothing like an intro to attract a crowd. Is he a horse owner, trainer, handicapper, breeder, steward....???

I know who he is...But I thought he earned his Bones writing for Various Publications about Boxing? I know he wrote the Book on the Godolphin Stables,,,,But I'm a little curious what his Horse racing Experience was before that? He was a Boxxing guy that showed sporadiaclly on Espn or Fox I think?
