I just finished reading his book "Analyzing Professional Betting Action". A good read with some interesting concepts.

Has anyone read this book or any of his other books?

I have a booklet by him about using Beyer Speed Figures that was very good.

I went to his seminar at one of the horserace expos. The man knows of what he speaks and does not trot out the old tired stuff about toteboard watching.

He has a formula in the book for adjusting Beyer figures using form and pace ratings.

Can you tell if the book is of recent vintage ? I like his work. I think I
ordered a book years ago. Cant recall how it all went down. Of course
I don't know where the Car Keys are .. and even if I did .. I do not know
where IT IS PARKED. :bang:

I've corresponded with Ken from time to time for over 20 years.

He was working on a hand held computer and I sent him minute by minute

tote board changes from Penn National over 20 years ago. He also had

a work called INSIDERS ACTION which appears on ebay . I spoke with

Ken and he was very courteous and well schooled. Tote board

watching really changed over the past few years so I kind of went away

from that approach but Ken is a good man to work with in regards to the

talking tote.

The book is not a HARD COVER book, it is soft cover and has no dates in it.

It appears to be fairly recent, maybe within the last 2 or 3 years. In my estimation, GOOD INFO!!!

Personally, I am not a fan of tote watching, although I am getting a bit more interested.

I purchased Ken Lempeneau's book and despite the above found it to be well-written and easy to understand.

I recommend his book on this topic.

Ditto on what Dave said.

Looks like this is his web site, where he sells his books and apparently gives away a free report in exchange for your email address.

This only appears from time to time. I always bid on it but it usually demands

a price close to $100.

Will give a report after I read it.

Real World Management was coauthered by Chuck Swope I believe.

I corresponded with Chuck for awhile and at the time (a few years ago)

he was working on another project. The money management portion

is betting 2 horses and it has alot of similarities to due column wagering

( with added safeguards ). Ken adds a toteboard method included in

the package and the rules are few but (without giving anything away)

I spoke with him because I misread or misinterpreted one of the rules.

Any how I will be looking forward to your report!!!
