I don’t get it. Sunday they run every race but the last one. The track was sloppy when the card started and no one ever fell off or went down. How do you ride 8 races and then decide not to run the 9th?

You guessed it....only at CharlesTown-usually when it is really wet they run one or two, then cancel. Sunday was very strange because it wasnt as if the conditions got really bad btw the 8th and 9th and like you said, there werent any accidents-I am headed up tomorrow and will pass on any info if I get it.....

I was up there....unreal...I think they played rock, paper, scissors to figure out which race to call it after....:):)


On track attendence was about 26 people

Canceled early for tonight. Penn Gaming needs to put a drain in that bathtub.

And yet they managed to have 8 workouts this morning AFTER canceling last night. :confused:

I didnt see that....wow. Is there a way to see which trainers worked their horses? When I left last night, it was pouring but today it cleared up.

I have never, ever seen a track cancel so much because of rain.

Penn National has already canceled for Saturday.Seems to be a common denominator here. ;)
