I hope there's a nice full field for this. I dont want any whinning and crying when MTB wins the triple crown about how he only beat a field of 6 or 7 nobody's in the last two legs. ;)

Wait til Preakness Day...maybe the fans will latch onto this silly song and make it MTB's anthem...can you imagine 70,000 fans all singing "bird, bird, bird is the word" togther:lol:

I think several of the best horses will be back for the Preakness. Today the trainers and owners are licking their wounds, but I think they would like to see revenge. I hope it's a good field. Sometimes the Preakness draws well rested horses also, as does the Belmont.

I heard that Papa Clem is going to the Preakness, but it was word of mouth from a friend that works at Churchill. Don't hold me to that one.

I wish, but the owner/trainer says she is going to run with only fillies. She is scheduled for an undercard on Belmont Day I believe.

RA is pointed to the Acorn Stakes, undercard of the Belmont......

As for Papa Clem he is headed to the Preakness, and I really see him mixing it up at the lead coming home. I think he would of beaten POTN if POTN wouldn't of faded to the outside in the last furlong. POTN was gutted and starting fading right into Papa Clem. He ran a helluva race.

If our PR folks had a brain, they'd be running TV spots, primetime, for the Preakness, playing that crazy :jump: song to footage of the Derby finish with Calvin doing his antics in the irons...that'd be so cool:cool: ...and effective too!
