Stupid Newbie Question

I have the unnerving suspicion that this question is pathetically easy for veterans, but I'll ask anyway: How do I get info on the Morning Line statistics, especially for individual tracks, like, how often is the winner in the ML top 3, the place horse, etc.

Welcome, and please don't feel embarassed.

To my knowledge, there is no place to find this information unless you have access to some database to query (such as your own).

Perhaps someone else might know of some stats that are published somewhere by I do not.

Sport Stat did a report on morning line odds and toteboard action, but I doubt if you can get it now. First choice was 30.5%wins and 23% loss, second choice was 19.2% wins and 10% loss. They didn't report on third choices separately. The data covered 1323 races in 1994-95.
