My apologies .. I do this stuff when I can not figure out the race. If you
can post some pace figures .. I would be in your debt :bang:

Better include the 20; looks like a 2/20 exacta box.

Here's a hunch bet for you. Friesan Fire #6, Won his maiden as #6, I bet him in the Feb. FUTURES POOL as #6, He wins the RISEN STAR as #6 and he's #6 in the DERBY, I guess he should be worth a $6 bet.:D

I finally turn my Santa Anita 2009 calendar to May and what do I see?
The caption doesnt mention who the horses are, but the photo shows them crossing the line in this order.

6/8/1/7

#2 Musket Man is tied with Dunkirk with the best speed figure and has the best total pace figure and the best late pace. Third best early pace. Assume the numbers are based on the Hawthorne race. Think it was War Emblem with the best numbers based on his Ill Dby at Haw.

Major problem could be the post position since few Derby winners in several years has won from the inside. Since 2000 I don't think a winner has come from the 1,2 or 3 pp.

...than MUSKET MAN.

With the defection of IWR, MUSKET MAN does have a similar look to WAR EMBLEM on paper, sans the dominating early speed. I won't be leaving him off any tickets.

Dartman, maybe Friesen Fire will finish 6th. (I bet him also and did not realize the 6 theory)

These hunches really work ! I remember back on 7/7/77, I went to the track, waited for the 7th race and bet on #7. Sure enough, he came in . . . 7th.

Thanks to the scratch, the purse is now 2,177,200. I guess if you add those numbers together you get 19.

Looks like they will be Dancing in Dubai.
