I don't have access to see current odds from work...would appreciate if anyone would post some of the latest derby actual odds, particularly on the main contenders. I can't be directed to a site from here, so it would have to be typed in the response.

Thanks!

The pools on TwinSpires are showing no money yet.

They just ran the first look. FF is chalk at 9-2, 2nd choice is IWR at 5-1. Only 18k in the pool, however.

At betfair the market is decent for it being this early. With about a 12% take, IWR is still chalk at 4.5-4.6 (7-2). FF 5-1, Dunkirk 6-1

Question: If it is a bog tomorrow does anyone think FF will be favored over IWR? I think there is a chance of it happening.

Absolutely considering the Louisiana Derby romp over Papa Clem in the slop.

Thanks much Dean...

As for FF, I posted an opinion yesterday that he could well be the favorite on a sloppy strip...even on a fast strip I projected him 9:2 second choice.

Don't read too much into the pools today. The amount of money will be dwarfed something like 100-1 tomorrow, and the money that comes in today is not a representative sample of what will happen. If anything, wait for the will-pays for the Oaks/Derby Double this evening.

Thanks too Derbyman32 for the full list...I know not much money is bet yet, but indications of the eventual odds can be gleaned from the early play.
