I have this old CD-ROM with video clips on it, that I'm trying to save to my computer and then e-mail them as attachments.

How do I go about doing this?

Things improved for me when I saved files for attachments on the Desktop rather than in a folder. After emailing, I put them in a folder. I do not know why but it works for me. I have WinXP and the latest version of Media Player

make a new folder on your desktop

open "my computer"

right click on the cd drive and hit "explore"

browse to the video you want (or multiple videos) and right click on them and hit "copy"

go back to the folder on the desktop....open it and inside the folder right click and hit "paste" they should now copy into the folder on the desktop.

You may have to right click on each video in the folder on the desktop and hit "properties" and uncheck "read only" "hidden" before you email them.

give it a whirl

If video clips are large files it might be better to upload them to a free web storage site. Email just the link to that site so people can download what they want.
