I am trying to find out whether favorites - that finished out of the money in their last start .. Come Back to win .. in their NEXT START?

If you have a large database, I'd appreciate it if you could run this query.

Can you clarify: do you mean they're favored >today< after an out-of-the-money finish last time, or are you asking what happens to favorites that run out in their next start?

Favored Today after an out-of-the-money Finish - Last Race.

I have developed 3 little rules to apply to this Favorite. And of course it
does not seem to work in Stakes Races - Certain kinds of maiden races
etc.

Thanks much for your time. I really think that if the original query
