Here's another classic: 'Jumpin' Jack Flash' LIVE from 1974.
I remember hearing that Johnny's band was playing backup for Ted Nugent around that time.
It didn't last long, though, because Johnny was blowing the crowds away and making Ted's Main Act look like a real letdown. :lol:

I saw Johnny Winter back in 87 when he played back up to George Throughgood. I've been to a few concerts, but that was the only one I had ever attended were the warm up band got two curtain calls. It was only Johnny and a bass player - and they (he) were incrediable.

Johnny Winter recently has been playing 2-night-stands at The Bull Run Restaurant in Shirley,MA. He's had New England Bluesman James Montgomery performing with him at some gigs...Great Stuff! When my friends used to go to The Paradise in Boston in the late '70s & early '80s, we always said,"Catch him while he's still kickin"!" Ironically, he's outlived many of my much younger friends...
