You know, the fact that I live in the Mid-Atlantic, this would have really bothered me until I learned the joys of online betting. I feel sorry for my ole friends at the OTB if they get shut out of the Ky. Derby.

The impasse came to light yesterday when the signal from opening day of Hollywood Park in Inglewood, Calif., a Churchill Downs-owned track, was not carried at Mid-Atlantic tracks and off-track betting facilities. Churchill Downs itself opens this weekend.
