Picking any contender, at this point, must be tempered when you
note Garett Gomez has yet to commit to ride for either Jim Jerkens
or Baffert.

The quarter crack issue, despite the recent great work , appears to
be an issue based on the deafening silence from the Jock.

I'm hoping we don't have another Big Brown scenario and am interested
if any trainers or vets on this board care to offer their on the ability of
this horse to compete in the Derby based on the w/o on Friday at Bel
which was:

12.87/25.10/48.54/23.49 (112.03/125.55) .

I must have been half asleep when posting this opinion as GG is not part of this
story, rather involved choosing between PioneeroftheNile and Dunkirk.

However, I do have a concern of the QR issue, and sorry for the confusion.
