Just wanted to write that out.... went up in air on 9th at A causing CC Lopex to lose irons, trailed and then won, fun race.

ML odds of 2-1 and went off at 5-1...Speightstown produces some classy runners..From last to first..All I hit in this one was the exacta though..I played the 10 cents super and didn't have the 1 in 4th..I had the 9 in third and didnt' play the trifecta..Not the brightest move..

I saw that race. Didn't think she had a prayer after that mishap.
Much the best.

I assume the 2:1 ML was based on the 11 not getting in.....as that one was 4:5 ML and on the AE list. Once the 11 got into the race, it was hard for the winner to be 2:1. Without the 11, she would have been around 2:1.

Oh..I forgot that the 11 was an alternate.

That's two days in a row with NYRA's last race showing unusual action during the course of the race.Wednesday the heavy favorite found severe traffic trouble in mid-stretch and almost went down only to regain momentum and actually win the race.

I wish I had this type of rebound potential on some of my key horses (LOL).
